Five stops, each with a defined blast radius.

Emergency controls are five explicit actions rather than one panic button: pause automation while delivery continues, pause a single channel, pause all spend across every connected network account, revert the last change, or lock a campaign so no automated write can reach it. Each is one action with a stated scope, and each writes to the change log like any other. Pausing automation stops new writes but does not undo the ones already made — that is what revert is for. Locks and pauses survive mode changes, so switching an account to Autonomous never releases them.

Pausing automation is not pausing spend

Pausing automation freezes decision-making: campaigns keep delivering at their current settings and the Growth Brain writes nothing. Pausing all spend sends pause instructions to every connected network account and reports which ones acknowledged. During an incident the first is usually what you want, and the two are separate actions with separate confirmations.

Revert is bounded and explicit

Revert last change restores the stored before-state of one logged entry, and the revert itself is logged as a new entry pointing back at it. Undoing several changes means several reverts, each visible. Nothing bulk-reverts a day of work on its own.

Locks outrank every automation mode

A locked campaign refuses automated writes from Recommend, Guarded and Autonomous alike, including proposals a person already approved. Unlocking is itself an action with an actor and a timestamp. Lock the brand campaign for a launch week and no budget rebalance can reach it by accident.
