Intelligence
The second opinion every network number is checked against.
Every ad network reports on its own work. Your web analytics sees the visit from outside that reporting: the source the landing request carried, the pages the journey crossed, the conversions your site itself observed. Realvertising holds that as attributed truth, credited under the rule you select, and never averages it with network-reported figures. The attribution service computes those numbers; the Growth Brain plans the analysis and explains what moved.
In short: Realvertising reads sessions, journeys, landing-page performance and independently attributed conversions from your web analytics, and keeps that attributed truth as its own layer beside what each network reports. Media cost, decisions and landing-page test assignments are written back, so your analytics carries spend and changes on the same timeline as traffic.
What it is
A first-party web analytics platform records what happens on your own site: the source a landing request carried, the pages a journey crossed, and the conversions the site observed for itself. Its attribution model distributes credit under a rule you configure there, independently of any ad network's reporting.
What Realvertising receives
- Landing requests with click identifiers and campaign parameters, resolved to channel, campaign and ad.
- Journey paths across sessions — first, assisting and last touch — each credited under the attribution rule named on the report.
- Landing-page performance per route template: entry rate, engagement, conversion rate, and the conversions recorded after each variant.
- Traffic-quality classification and deployment markers, so a conversion-rate move can be read against automation or a release before it is read against the ads.
What it sends back
- Media cost by day, channel, campaign and ad, so spend sits on the same timeline as sessions inside your analytics.
- Every Growth Brain action as a timeline annotation — budget moved, campaign paused, audience suppressed, creative rotated — with the evidence identifier attached.
- Landing-page test assignment per visit, so your analytics can segment a page test by the arm the visitor was routed into.
What this lets you ask
Questions this connection makes answerable.
- Which landing pages turn paid clicks into conversions our own site recorded, and which only collect them?
- Where does a network report more conversions than our analytics credited to the same campaign?
- Did the conversion-rate drop start with the campaign change, or with the release that shipped the same afternoon?
How it connects
- 1Authorise your web analytics workspace and select the properties whose sessions Realvertising reads.
- 2Confirm the attribution rule and lookback window this connection reports under; the rule's name is printed on every figure that uses it.
- 3Keep auto-tagging and UTM parameters on your ad URLs, then read the join rate on the connection page before any budget decision leans on it.
Where it stops
- Attribution distributes credit under the rule you chose. It does not say what would have happened without the channel — that answer comes from a holdout or geo test, and the two kinds of number stay on separate lines.
- Sessions collection never saw cannot be credited. Blocked scripts, stripped identifiers and offsite conversions lower the join rate, which is reported as a percentage rather than modelled away.
- The attribution model belongs to your analytics and to the attribution service. Realvertising reads the result and names the rule; it computes no private figure of its own.
