Advertising channels
B2B spend judged on pipeline, not form fills.
A LinkedIn lead is cheap to count and slow to prove. The adapter pulls Lead Gen Form responses field by field alongside campaign reporting, then sends back what your CRM later decided: qualified, disqualified, opportunity created, closed won. Those stages reach LinkedIn through the Conversions API, so its optimisation sees the segment that became pipeline rather than the one that downloaded a PDF. Because B2B volumes are small, the Constitution's minimum-evidence rule usually holds a change here longer than it would on search, and the Growth Brain says so rather than acting early.
In short: The LinkedIn Marketing API connects over three-legged OAuth and lists every ad account in the Business Manager you authorise. Campaign groups, campaigns, creatives and LinkedIn's aggregated demographic reporting sync in, and pipeline stages from your CRM return as offline conversions.
What it is
LinkedIn is member-targeted inventory sold against job title, company, seniority, industry and skills. The integration covers OAuth and account discovery, campaign and creative sync, Lead Gen Form retrieval, bounded budget writes and offline conversion upload.
What Realvertising receives
- Campaign group, campaign, creative and matched audience objects for every authorised ad account, with schedule, daily and lifetime budgets and bid settings.
- Reporting pivoted by campaign, creative, company, industry, job function and seniority, at the aggregation LinkedIn permits.
- Lead Gen Form definitions and submitted responses, field by field, each associated with the campaign and creative it arrived through.
- Conversion rule definitions and the state of every matched audience, including current size and last refresh.
What it sends back
- Offline conversion events through the Conversions API — qualified lead, opportunity created, closed won — keyed on hashed contact identifiers from your CRM.
- Daily budget, bid and status changes on campaigns and campaign groups, inside the Constitution's limits and any approval step it requires.
- Matched audience membership for suppression and expansion: current customers out, high-fit accounts in, refreshed as your CRM segments move.
What this lets you ask
Questions this connection makes answerable.
- "Which LinkedIn campaigns are credited with leads that became opportunities, not just downloads?"
- "What does a closed-won customer cost on LinkedIn once unqualified leads are removed from the count?"
- "Which job functions and industries are credited with pipeline, and which only with form fills?"
How it connects
- 1Sign in with LinkedIn and grant Marketing API access to the ad accounts you want in scope.
- 2Enable Lead Gen Form access and map each form field to the CRM fields your pipeline already uses.
- 3Choose which CRM stages return as offline conversions, then set the minimum-evidence rule for this account to match LinkedIn's volumes.
Where it stops
- LinkedIn reporting is aggregated and thresholded. Demographic pivots suppress small cells and no member-level data is available, so company readouts appear only where LinkedIn releases them.
- Daily is the finest grain for most pivots. Intraday pacing moves that are routine on search are not available on this API.
- Small volumes and long cycles slow everything down. A LinkedIn experiment usually needs weeks before its evidence threshold clears, and offline conversions only match members whose identifiers your CRM actually holds.
