Continuous coordination, with people on the exceptions.
In Autonomous Mode the Growth Brain runs its loop without waiting for approvals: read the four truth layers from the services that own them, submit each proposed change to the evidence and policy checks, apply what passes, log all of it. Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft keep running delivery, placement and bidding inside their own auctions; what moves is how much budget each receives, which business outcome each optimises toward, and which audiences, messages and landing pages are in play. People review exceptions — escalations, reverted changes, limits hit repeatedly, a network's reported ROAS drifting from revenue recorded in your finance system. The mode is a permission level, not a different engine: the same Constitution and the same log apply.
Evidence thresholds gate every action
Each action type carries a minimum evidence rule expressed in conversions, spend and elapsed days. Below it the system holds and states what it is waiting for, rather than acting on a two-day wobble. Retiring a fatigued creative needs different evidence than halving a channel's budget, so the thresholds are set separately.
The queue builds itself from policy events
Blocked actions, rollbacks, clauses hit more than a set number of times in a window, and divergence between network-reported results and revenue recorded afterwards in your finance system each open an exception. Where that divergence matters, the queue proposes a holdout or geo test, because only an experiment estimates what would have happened without the spend. Nobody has to read a dashboard to find the problem.
Autonomy narrows as easily as it widens
Autonomous can be granted per channel, per campaign group and per action type — budget moves without creative retirement, paid search without paid social. Withdrawing a grant takes effect at the next evaluation, and any in-flight action stops at the policy check. No single account-wide switch means always on.

Recommend Mode
The Growth Brain drafts each action with its evidence attached. Nothing reaches a network until a person approves it.
Guarded Mode
Writes execute inside the Constitution. Anything that breaches a limit stops and escalates, naming the clause that blocked it.
Campaign Constitution
One account-level object: spend ceilings, max CAC, minimum margin, protected campaigns, approvals and evidence thresholds.
Change History
Append-only records of action, actor, evidence, before state, after state, policy result and rollback path.
Emergency Controls
Pause automation, pause a channel, pause all spend, revert the last change, lock a campaign. Each is scoped and logged.
One goal. Every channel. Real business truth.
