Every action traces back to a number someone can check.

Each recommendation and each executed action links to the metrics and signals behind it and names the service that produced them: the attribution service, the budget engine, the business metrics service, your finance system. The model explains the reasoning and does not compute the figures. Credit language and causal language stay apart in the record — a channel is credited with revenue under a named attribution model, or revenue was recorded after it, and only a holdout or geo test carries a lift estimate. The trail outlives the decision, so you can re-read in November why budget moved in June.

Numbers carry their source

Every figure in an evidence panel shows which service returned it, which truth layer it belongs to and the window it covers. Two figures that disagree stay two figures. A CAC can be followed back to the spend and the customer records the business metrics service calculated it from.

The attribution model is named on the record

Credit depends on the rule you chose, so the rule is printed with the result. Changing the attribution model on a Goal changes how future credit is distributed, and that change is stamped on the trail. Past decisions keep the model that was in force when they were made.

Explanations sit next to the data

The written rationale is stored with the evidence it refers to, rather than regenerated each time someone opens it. If the owning service later restates a figure, the action shows both the number it acted on and the number that stands now. Disagreements between the two are readable instead of lost.
